UAE Corporate Tax Deregistration Services
UAE Corporate Tax Deregistration is required when a business or taxable person ceases to be subject to Corporate Tax. This may occur due to business closure, liquidation, merger, dissolution, cessation of business activities, or any other circumstance where the entity is no longer considered a taxable person under the UAE Corporate Tax Law.
A deregistration application must be submitted to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) through the EmaraTax portal within 3 months of the date on which the entity ceases to be a taxable person. Before deregistration can be approved, all Corporate Tax returns must be filed, and any outstanding tax liabilities, penalties, or compliance obligations must be settled.
Failure to deregister within the prescribed timeline may result in administrative penalties and ongoing compliance obligation
